The Warrioress Collection
The Warrioress Collection is born from the female experience and explores power, identity, and freedom.
Armor, shields, spears, axes, and other elements of martial equipment are reimagined as female forms. The woman does not hold the weapon, nor does she become an extension of it. She becomes the weapon herself. Body and weapon become a single form.
The collection does not glorify war. It speaks of the invisible battles against expectations, stereotypes, limitations, and imposed roles. Choosing to be who we truly are, in a world that constantly tries to define us otherwisw,
is perhaps the greatest act of resistance.
Warrioress is not simply a woman warrior. It is the claiming of voice, space and freedom. Born from the woman experience, its resistance is universal : the refusal of any power that seeks to define who we are and how we will exist!
Inspiration
The collection draws inspiration from the story of the Birka Warrior, a tenth-century Viking whose grave was believed for more than a century to belong to a man because it contained weapons and horses, even though examination of the skeleton
indicated that the remains were female.
It was only in 2017 that DNA analysis confirmed the remains belonged to a woman.
Her story reminds us that female strength is not a modern achievement. It has always existed. What has often been missing is the willingness to recognize it.
The Warrioress Collection creates a dialogue between past and present. It draws inspiration from the women of yesterday to speak about the women of today—those who continue to challenge prejudice, redefine their place in the world, and claim the
right to determine their own identity.
Because the story of women does not begin today. It continues!
Details of The Autonomy Pendant
The Autonomy Pendant crafted in 14-carat recycled gold and set with rubies, isolates one of the elements of Warrioress Armor and transforms it into a piece of its own.
Here, the vulva does not symbolize fertility, nor does it define women through reproduction. It is the body itself as a place of self-determination : the right of every person to decide over their own body, desire and existance.
The Autonomy pendant speaks of a fundamental freedom : human existence belongs to no one else. No one can claim power over another person's existence. We alone have the right to define who we are and how we exist.
And that freedom needs no justification.
